Tonight went for a walk on the beach after looking at the house. Was absolutely beautiful down there - pristine. So glad it is only a short walk from our front door!

Little Bit of Info on our Home
This is a blog that follows the building process with Metricon. We have gone through about 7 months worth of preparation with them to get to the first construction day. We are building a design called the Nevada and our home will be 37 squares finished. This home is actually not on display anywhere and I think Metricon are no longer offering this design. Our block is in a beachside suburb of Melbourne and is 520sq/m. The estate is part of a very small redevelopment in a established suburb and a less then 10 min strole to the waters edge.
We are hoping to achieve a modern beach house feel. I plan to try and put all my ideas and photos for the house on the blog (partly as a reminder to myself) and to share ideas.

- Mark and I are building our first home in a bayside location of melbourne with Metricon. We have had the land for a number of years and finally got around to building. After a long process of choosing a builder we ended up with Metricon. We are building the Nevada which is a home that is not on display anywhere. We are living around the corner from our new home so plan on watching the build closely.
